Microsoft New Zealand invites you to celebrate student innovation at the Microsoft Student Accelerator Showcase.

Join us on the 9th of March at the Auckland Town Hall and be part of the 1200 attendees consisting of industry influencers, successful entrepreneurs, VIP guests and Microsoft employees at the biggest event on the Microsoft student calendar.

Microsoft is empowering students through the Microsoft Student Accelerator, to help young kiwis carve a pathway towards an IT career – either by joining an organisation, or by creating their own.

The MSA sets students up for a prosperous career in IT – by inspiring high school students through technical workshops, by placing tertiary students into voluntary work placement and, finally, by encouraging all students to craft innovative solutions of their own through the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition.

The showcase event will highlight all three elements of this year’s programme, and be launch of next year’s.

Come along and find out about the value of taking part in this programme in 2015. For organisations, join us to find out how you could be involved in 2015 – find out about the benefits of taking on students over the summer to kick off your own innovative projects.

As for the students’ personal team projects, the showcase will also let you watch the top four teams battle it out for the Microsoft Imagine Cup – after all, New Zealand has a thriving community of technology startups!

Please arrive at 5:30pm to be seated for a 6:00pm start. Doors close at 6:00pm sharp and late entries will not be allowed.
