Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom. Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.

Classes are held Thursday evening 7:30-9:00pm

Classes follow the below dates and Topics

Inner Strength - November
Discover your inner strength through meditation. Learn powerful methods that enable you to transform life’s difficulties, heal your body and mind and find inner peace.

Overcoming Anxiety – November/ December
Many people suffer from anxiety and stress at some time or other. Sometimes it is due to stressful work, sometimes due to problems at home, and sometimes due to difficult relationships.
On this course, learn how anxiety and stress, as well as other conditions such as tension, nervousness, worry and depression have their roots in our state of mind and show how we can reduce and eventually overcome these conditions by working on our mind with a combination of meditation and positive thinking.

Teacher - Buddhist nun Kelsang Luma

These classes present practical meditations that help us solve the problems of daily life and find a deep inner peace and contentment that remains with us out of meditation. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes.

Anyone can practise meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.

Structure of the class
- Brief prayer
- Introductory meditation
- Explanatory teaching
- Main meditation

After the class everyone is welcome to stay for light refreshments.

Attending the class

The classes are organised as short courses, usually 4, 5 or 6 weeks long. You can attend the whole course or simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained.

Class fee $10
