Coaching on the Axis – becoming a successful business or executive coach
Are you an executive coach working in organisations? Are you a coach wanting to work within a business context? Secure your seat at this breakfast seminar with visiting expert, Marc Kahn, chartered business coach, head of HR and Organisational Development at Investec (SA) and author of Coaching on the Axis, to find out the keys to success for coaching in organisations.

Business coaching is unique and quite different from coaching an individual. It has to provide business outcomes as well as personal outcomes. Sometimes as coaches, we make the assumption that if it is good for the individual, it will be good for the business but this is not always the case.

In this one off seminar, Marc looks at the differences between business coaching and personal coaching (including the differences between a business confidentiality contract and an individual confidentiality contract) and how a coach can balance what can seem like the competing responsibilities of working for the individual and the organisation. He outlines his ‘Coaching on the Axis’ approach which shows how to work with this complexity by taking a relational approach and one which takes in to account the organisational systems and culture in which the individual works.
