Our city is forever shaped by people with ideas. Hear from some of Auckland's sharpest minds as we explore the next five years and the city's future.

Panel discussion
Bill Ralston chairs this panel discussion about our city, Tāmaki Makaurau - where it is heading in the next five years and beyond. Panelists include Damon Salesa, University Director of Pacific Strategy and Engagement and Associate Professor and Head of Pacific Studies at the University of Auckland, and Rod Oram, who brings 40 years’ experience as an international business journalist and his active involvement with aspiring Kiwi entrepreneurs. They are joined by Marina Matthews, a Partner and leader of the education team at Chen Palmer New Zealand Public and Employment law specialists; and Waikare Komene, a young architect from Otara who is passionate about empowering communities from the grassroots up, and is the driving force behind The Roots Creative Entrepreneurs.

Prior to the panel discussion, you can enjoy panoramic views of Auckland City from the Museum’s level three event centre, with a delicious selection of food created by the chefs at Dawsons Catering. A bar will also be available.

Entertainment
Enjoy a roving performance from White Face Crew, who are renowned for their laugh-out-loud antics, interacting with audiences and passersby with their unique style of physical comedy. Chucking in improvisation, spontaneity and good old fashioned fun, they’ll invigorate your LATE evening with pop-up fun and excerpts of their acclaimed show Double Derelicts.
