Selwyn Community Education, based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This course runs on Monday evenings 7 - 9 PM for four weeks. Courses start on the following dates:

31 August 2015

Look beyond the sushi! Liberate yourself from take-aways! Instead, learn to create those truly palate-pleasing Japanese favourites at home, such as Teriyaki Chicken, Tempura and Pork Katsudon. Your experienced tutors, Catherine and Efrem Tham, will show you how to put together delicious and healthy dishes that can be adapted to suit your personal taste, the season, the occasion, or any special dietary requirement. As well as receiving practical assistance during these hands-on cooking sessions, you will learn how to prepare sauces so you don’t have to buy commercial varieties, and where to shop for other important ingredients.

Enrolment fee includes ingredients for first night's class. Efrem will explain where to shop and provide ingredients list for future classes.

Numbers are limited on this course so please enrol early to ensure you secure a place.
