This one-day summit will bring together key politicians, business leaders, trade and industry experts in New Zealand as well as distinguished speakers from India, at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Auckland on 13 March 2015.

After the successful summit, in 2014, which is now the top industry event for International Trade with India, the tickets are now on sale for INZBC Business Summit 2015, which intends to ignite a strategic channel in place for creating opportunities and developing business within India – NZ.
Sunil Kaushal, Chairman, INZBC, says, “This Summit will be truly a first of its kind in International Summit between India and NZ where industry leaders from both India and New Zealand will come together to share their insights on increasing bilateral trade between both countries.”

Business pioneers such as Nandan Nilekani, Economist Dr Reuben Abraham, Business Leader and Indian industry body Chairman Ajay Shiriram of Shiriram Group will discuss experiences and insights and explain how their businesses maintain a competitive edge in a fast-paced, ever-changing world.

Key note speaker Nandan Nilekani, from India is an acclaimed entrepreneur, bureaucrat and politician. Time magazine listed him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2006 and 2009. Fortune Magazine conferred him with “Asia’s Businessman of the year 2003”. He was named the Corporate Citizen of the Year at the Asia Business Leaders Award (2004).

‘I am greatly looking forward to my first visit to New Zealand in March, to speak at the INZBC business summit! I see many opportunities for trade and cooperation between India and New Zealand to flourish in the coming years’, says Nandan.

Nandan Nilekani was most recently the Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)—which aims to provide a unique identification number for all residents of India—in the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister. Nandan Nilekani was previously the co-chairman of the board of directors of Infosys Technologies Limited, which he co-founded in 1981. Serving as director on the company's board since its inception to July 2009.

Also joining the key Note speakers, is Dr Reuben Abraham, who is the CEO and Senior Fellow at the IDFC Institute, a think-tank set up by India’s largest infrastructure finance company. The IDFC Institute's focus is on the political, economic, and spatial causes. Reuben was a Legatum Global Fellow for 2013. In 2012, he was named to Wired Magazine’s “Smart List 2012: 50 people who will change the world.” He was selected as a Young Global Leader for 2009 by the World Economic Forum, where he serves on the Global Agenda Council on Emerging Multinationals.

‘I hope the INZBC summit will play a key role in dramatically improving ties between India and New Zealand, two natural allies, whose common interests start with cricket and a shared language, but ought to be much more substantive’, says Dr Reuben.
