Course Overview:
If you have basic computing skills and want to gain more skills while completing the majority of your studies in your own time, then this programme is for you!

Course Highlights:
NZQA Qualification
No Fees, Attend one 3-hour session per week.
30 self-directed learning hours per week.
Attend three 5-hour compulsory workshops.
Attend one 7-hour compulsory marae visit.
Get a free loan computer (including all softwares) to study at home.
Get access to free Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus

Course Content:
In this programme, you’ll learn about:
Computer hardware and software
Email and local area networks
Word processing and schematic diagrams (using Microsoft Word 2010)
Spread sheets (using Microsoft Excel 2010)
Databases (using Microsoft Access 2010)
Desktop presentations (using Microsoft PowerPoint 2010)
Desktop Publications (using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver)
Kaupapa Māori (including Tikanga Māori, Te Marae and Ngā Kawa a Iwi)

Entry Criteria:
To enrol, you’ll need to:
Be at least 16 years old
Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
Complete and pass a pre-entry test

Study Options:
Choose any one day that suits your schedule for 2015:
Wednesday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Thursday from 06:00pm to 09:00 pm
