About

Jazmine Cox started her classic dance training in ISTD Jive, Rock n Roll and Freestyle, as well as ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. However after training at Pineapple Studios, Dance Works, Huskys and other prestigious studios in London, England she landed her first professional UK tour at the age of 15 years old. From here she began to train in Street Dance, Hip Hop and Commercial dance all around the world and her passion for this culture and dance grew. In collaboration with Mukhtar (Cirque du Soleil) PLAGUE UK was created which broke boundaries in Europe as the dominant StreetDance crew winning GOLD in the UK StreetDance Championships 3 x and the Hip Hop International 2 x and the UDO 1 x. Jazmine has trained with Salah (FR), The Ruggeds (NL), Clara (FR), Soul Mavericks (UK), Sayaka (JP), Brooke (UK), Bly (UK), Turbo (UK), Eddie Morales (USA), Punch (USA), Marty Kudelka (USA), Parris Goebel (NZ), Greenteck (CN), Poppin Pete (USA), Sugapop (USA), Don Campbellock (USA), Rino (JP), Kenrick (UK), TJ (UK), Flawless (UK), Lilou (FR), Roxy (UK), Buddha Stretch (USA), Mikey Disco (USA) and many more. She has worked with Mariah Carey, F1, Sky 1, BBC, Power Rangers, Air NZ, Nike, Breakin Convention and the San Francisco Hip Hop Dance Festival and featured in 2 dance movies including Born to Dance and Streetdance 3D and a part of the original cast of Pied Piper which was the recipient of the Lawrence Oliver Award. She has started her own dance company called Dreamcatchers Worldwide in 2014 which aims to train dancers to be versatile and strong in as many forms of Hip Hop and Street Dance. Jazmine also introduced HOUSE DANCE NZ which focuses on training in House Dance here in NZ trying to spread the knowledge and funk for this style of dance.
