Tuff Crater is North Shore Forest and Bird’s key restoration project. At our monthly working bees we work on weed control both in the Millennium Forest area and around the crater. We can cater for all levels of fitness and newcomers are assured of a warm welcome. Bring a spade, gloves, hand saw, pruners or a grubber if possible, some equipment may also be available.

If you’d like to be on the regular email notification list for Tuff Crater work days, please email northshore.branch@forestandbird.org.nz. Training on weed recognition and weed control can be arranged.
