Test the boundaries of bending timber in a 5 day intensive laminating and vacuum bagging course by making your own Flex Stool. Learn how to re-saw solid timber on a bandsaw and prepare it for laminating around a form to create flexible legs. Furthermore, you will make a curved seat out of solid timber that is also re-sawn on the bandsaw and reformed as plywood over a mold in a vacuum bag. Throughout the course you will learn techniques on making formers that can be adapted to your own furniture projects in the future. The Flex Stool is a fantastic learning project that will also function perfectly in your home.
