The Demon Energy D1NZ National Drifting Championship continues it's 2015 Nation-Wide Tour with Round 5 at Mike Pero Motorsport Park!

This is the South Island's chance to witness New Zealand's top drifters battle for supremacy in Christchurch; the penultimate round of the season before the massive grand final event at Pukekohe Raceway in May.

If you’re a petrol head this is one event not to miss, D1NZ visits the Canterbury region once a year and it's sure to be a big one!

LINK ECU presents Round 5 of the 2015 championship title fight where Darren Kelly in the turbocharged RB30DET Nissan Skyline leads the charge against the V8 Invasion. Californian V8 pilot Andrew Redward sits close behind in the Club Auto Insurance FC RX7, aiming to be the first ever internationally-born driver to win the New Zealand title.

Round five will also feature top Kiwi internationals including Daynom Templeman, Fanga Dan, Curt Whittaker, Gaz Whiter and Cole Armstrong to name a few. More than 60 of New Zealand's best drivers will be visiting across the Pro-Championship & Pro-AM Development Series classes. Don't forget to support your local drivers too with local star Phith Sutherland spearheading the South Island contingent in the Drains & Developments R34 Skyline.

Last year's D1NZ visit was the biggest event Mike Pero Raceway had ever seen for Drifting or Motorsport in the last 5 Years, VIP & Pit Passes sold out quickly and this coming Easter weekend will be no different!
