Dame Robin White talks about her life and her art.
Robin is one of New Zealand's most respected visual artists.

White was one of the most prominent painters of the 1970s, producing numerous iconic New Zealand images. She subsequently lived on the island of Tarawa in the Republic of Kiribati for some years before returning to New Zealand.

Her recent work is an astonishing amalgam of Palangi, Maori and Pacific influences. As well as collaborating with weavers, she continues to make prints, draw, paint and take photographs.

The talk will be in Lecture Theatre 1.
