On Sunday 1 March 2015 Rotorua Museum will be celebrating Children’s Day - Te Ra mo Nga Tamariki. Join in the fun, and do something special for the little treasures in your life, as they explore the Museum.

Activities will take place in the exhibition Body in Action, which offers an amazing, interactive journey of discovery through the human body. Venture through the guts, measure your aerobic capabilities or put your brain through some mental gymnastics.

Free face painting will run from 10am-3pm and kids can come and meet Harold, Life Education’s giraffe. Spot prizes will be awarded through the day if children come in fancy dress.

Children 15 years and under receive free entry to Rotorua Museum with every paying adult (available on Sunday 1 March 2015).

Check out the Museum Café which will have yummy kids’ specials and delicious all day meals.

Entry to Rotorua Museum is adults $20, seniors $18. Entry for Rotorua residents is free of charge with relevant ID.
