This Frontline Communications programme addresses the communication and motivation breakdown between most employers and their young employees. This programme aims to bridge the gap by de-mystifying motivation and teaching how to align an individual’s key motivators with business goals and performance indicators.

Target Audience
• All employers.
• All managers who have staff reporting to them.
• Anyone who is experiencing a breakdown in communications in the workplace.
• Anyone who has to deal with 18 - 25 year olds.

• To define the communication gap between the current generations.
• To learn the difference between leading and managing staff.
• To understand the difference between an incentive and a motivator.
• To discover how to unpack what motivates different people.
• To learn how to conduct effective goal setting and KPI meetings.
• To learn how to manage staff expectations.
• To learn the difference between training and coaching.
• To learn how to perform effective workplace coaching.

Programme Duration:
• 1 x full day programme (can also be broken into 2 x half day modules)

• To create a clear understanding of what the gap is and why the gap exists.
• To understand we are the both the problem and the solution.
• To know how to uncover an individuals motivators.
• To break down staff coaching and development into manageable chunks.
• To explain how often young people need to be aligned with business goals.
• To learn an effective coaching technique.
• To learn how to set Smart goals for staff.

Programme Facilitator:

Lindsey Marshall is an experienced adult educator and coach. Lindsey has a degree in Psychology and Education as well as a Certificate IV in Adult Education / Training and Assessing (Australia). Lindsey is passionate about community support, and creating sustainable improvement through people development. As a communication specialist Lindsey has first hand experience in bridging communication gaps in business either between management and employees or employees and customers.

When coupled with our management programme the typical result from this programme is an immediate 10 - 20% improvement in customer satisfaction ratings.
