Bach Solo Cello Suites with Sacred Geometry

Thomas Pierard, Cello
Jonathan Quintin, Visuals of Sacred Geometry and other imagery

Join us in celebration of all that is:
Friday, 13 March, 2015 – 7pm til 10.15pm
Grey Lynn Library Hall
474 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland

This is a truly multidimensional offering of the six Solo Cello Suites of J S Bach, performed by Thomas Pierard with a backdrop of Jonathan Quintin's colourful and constantly evolving creations of Sacred Geometry.

Sacred Geometry – The Fibonacci Series, generating Fractals and 'Phi', the Golden Geometrical Mean, expresses the geometrical building blocks of all life. Explored by mathematicians to create the ancient ‘Flower of Life’, by architects in the construction of temples, cathedrals and palaces, by artists in the construction of sculptures and frescoes, and by composers in the construction of musical scores, it is so evident in the structure of the music of J.S.Bach who is commonly regarded as one of the greatest intuitive mathematicians in history.

The Bach Suites eloquently express an expansion of consciousness through an intensely creative period in Johann Sebastian Bach's life. The music draws you into your hearts to expanded depths of experience, and the Sacred Geometry activates upper energy centres, arousing the higher vibrations of peace, love and joy.

Audience is free to attend at any stage and to stay for as long as it suits, or for an hour and a half, bask in the expansive energies of Bach and Sacred Geometry.
