Bramble Cafe, Matakana Country Park, 1 Omaha Flats Rd, Matakana

All Ages

The Galapagos Islands: our journey visiting these islands, best know for giant tortoises and iguana, is the home of a huge range of birds (boobies, herons, penguins, frigatebirds and much more). We walked and snorkelled amongst the amazing life in one of the best natural history regions of the world. Anyone wanting to get up close and personal with wildlife should put Galapagos at the top of their list.

Tony & Jenny Enderby are authors and photographers who live at Leigh and have had eight books published. Although much of their work is on the underwater world, this was not a dive trip although there were many snorkelling opportunities.

Ticket price of $15 donated to “Friends of Galapagos New Zealand” a non profit organisation.
