About the Competition
The purpose of the Young Viticulturist of the Year competition is to find a national viticulture representative to compete in the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition and to celebrate the young talent in our region.
Winners of the regional event will go on to compete at the national final at the 2014 Romeo Bragato conference in Marlborough.
Competitors will vie for the coveted title of Young Viticulturist of the Year 2014 earning the right to compete at the Young Horticulturist of the year competition.

About the Dinner
Come and enjoy a night celebrating our talented young viticulturists. The cost of the dinner is $95 per person and includes the following:

Canapés on arrival
3-course meal lovingly prepared by BV Gourmet
Wine for the evening
Coffee, tea

Tickets can be purchased individually, or you can book a full table for 10 people.

You will also have the chance to hear our guest speaker, John Flanagan, a former Chief of Operations for the UN Mine Action Service who has transitioned to working in viticulture. Our eight competitors will deliver a 3 minute speech and also take part in a fun quick-fire quiz round which will ultimately decide who is named our Champion Marlborough Young Viticulturist. The evening is filled with fine Marlborough wine, delicious food and entertainment from our talented competitors. Please email emily@wine-marlborough.co.nz if you would like to purchase a ticket.
