Walk the river course with prize-winning poet and leading creative writing tutor and educator, Cliff Fell. The stream known in local lore beneath the Artworks and Library site will be encouraged to flow with words.

Return to the Quiet Room at the new Waiheke Community Library and compose streams of your own words with Cliff's expert guidance. His 'Motueka Song', a radio-poem about the Motueka River, was broadcast on National Radio an inspiration for many others to muse about the river.

Currently tutoring creative writing at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology in Nelson, Cliff's work has been acknowledged in a prize-winning poetry collection He also works in fiction writing, nonfiction and reviewing. His work has been widely published in New Zealand and in journals and anthologies in Australia, the UK and the USA

His most recent book is The Good Husbandwoman’s Alphabet [An illustrated long poem] published by, Last Leaf Press

Workshop: Stream of Words is part of the Waiheke Book Festival 2014.
