Join us for an intimate evening of presentations with industry experts, featuring Sheri Candler (US director of Digital Marketing Strategy – The Film Collaborative), award winning Australian writer and actor Tony Briggs (The Sapphires), and scriptwriter/filmmaker Max Currie (Shortland Street, Step Dave). The MC for the night is self-confessed cinema addict and 3News Entertainment Editor and Film3 reviewer, Kate Rodger.

This event will be an forum of stimulating conversation with a focus on digital marketing and independent distribution on an international scale. Aimed to educate, inspire and challenge filmmakers at all stages of their careers.

The speaker and presenter line up will be followed by a Taste of Tropfest short film screening which will feature finalist Tropfest films from NZ and around the world. Drinks and canapés to celebrate the official launch of the 2015 competition and festival will conclude the evening.
