Sweat City Games

The Sweat City Games are back for 2014 and are set to be bigger than ever! If you loved Top Town or the Krypton Factor, or even 'WipeOut' then this is the event for you!

Get your team of 5 together and navigate through the different challenges. There are 10 obstacle events and your team has 10 minutes on each one to gain as many points as possible. Use the strengths of your different team members to overcome the challenges. This year we will have a special youth category (12-18 years) which will be run before the main event. All money raised goes to The Martin Charitable Trust who help out young people in low decile schools with sport and recreation. This is not an event you can train for as the obstacles will change! Here's some of the past challenges:

The Santa Sack: Use your team to lift the heavy Santa sacks over the 3 metre fence ready to take on the sleigh. Once on the sleigh, two of your team members must pull the sleigh to the finish line and then return.

The Car Pull: Jump on the 5-man skis and walk your team 10 metres. Then, you must then carry one of your team mates on the 'boat' 20 metres. Once you reach the vehicle, you must pull the vehicle 20 metres before returning to the start. Each round you must carry a different team member.

The Swim: All 5 team members must be linked at all times during this challenge. You must run to the 5 different markers and collect your 5 ribbons without releasing your link. Once at the beach you must send a swimmer out to the kayak to retrieve a formation. Once the swimmer is back, the team must link again then return to the start marshal and create the formation they were given. If the marshal guesses it, full points are awarded.

We will be open for registration from 1 October but if you would like to register interest, please head to our website and we will remind you when to register.
