The Storylines Festival Family Days are a breeding ground for this generation's Margaret Mahy or Joy Cowley, or indeed for the next Eleanor Catton! But more than that, they are the place where our children and their families and our authors, illustrators and storytellers share the magic of our stories, right here and now.

The Storylines Festival is a great time to celebrate the joy of reading. Come and share the excitement of NZ books with children, families and the Wellington community at the Storylines Free Family Day. Come and meet our featured authors, illustrators, storytellers and performers. You can also purchase their books on the day and get them signed:
