Alexis Neal

Join artist Alexis Neal on an exciting journey into the endless possibilities of printmaking. This diverse workshop will give you a unique overview of a variety of printmaking processes and techniques, including the introduction of soft ground etching using a 6/1 nitric acid water mix to etch our zinc plates. Print examples will be shown and technical skills thoroughly demonstrated and discussed as you create impressions and images through multiple explorations.
Fee: $450 (Includes all materials)

Alexis Neal:
Alexis is an interdisciplinary artist whose work is concerned with defining a place for women’s cultural identity and addresses Maori traditional whakapapa in a contemporary context. With a Masters degree from the Slade School of Fine Arts in London, Alexis has tutored in both academic and community institutions. She has exhibited in NZ, London, Melbourne, Sydney, USA and Norway.
