Pro Comedy Tour - Alexander Sparrow and Bas Jeffrey

Sorry this event has been and gone

  • Thu 21 Aug ’14, 7:30pm – 8:30pm

Waikanae Hotel, 34 Main Rd, Waikanae

Ticket Information:

  • General Admission: $16.00

An hour of pro comedy from two of Wellington's most popular names, and a guest appearance by Waikanae star, Ricky Threlfo!

Bas Jeffrey and Alexander Sparrow are going on tour - and it's going to be incredible. As self-professed 'experts in everything', these guys can teach you how to live, from robbing a supermarket right through to picking someone up. Performing together and solo, these guys know how to put on a show.

As total opposites - Bas with 150 children (by Alexander's last count), and Alexander with a Theatre degree and no job prospects (according to Bas and everyone else) - these guys cover every subject and give it a proper dressing down. How easy is it to rob a supermarket? Can dance moves alone win over a woman? Is Bas or Alexander better? All these and more will be answered. This will change your life.

Putting their houses on the line (and Bas's children, who Alexander estimates are worth around $15 each - that's $45!), Bas and Alexander have got the money to travel. They are going out of their way to get in your way - so jump in your local and get a taste of 'Pro Comedy Tour'.

Bas is MC of the regular sell out show Rock'n Bingo, and was handpicked to be flown down south for the first Picton Comedy Festival. His crowd work comes faster and harder than a bullet train (or you, when you're excited).

Alexander is the writer/performer of the solo shows 'How To Pick Up Women', 'It Was Supposed To Be A Joke', and 'de Sade' - the latter of which is touring the South Island in August 2014 after a massive season at BATS Theatre. He will make tears come out your eyes and snot run down your neck.

They reckon this will be the best comedy show you'll ever see, ever - just look at the reviews!
