In conjunction with the Forge Theatre, we are bringing together some of our cities finest performing creatives to speak to us about their projects, ideas and contributions to our city. We believe the creative community is an integral part of our city's rebuild. While architecture and urban design can support the growth of a physical city- the performing arts sector is it's heart.

The Forge at The Court aims to be an essential artistic voice in the new Christchurch that will challenge the audience’s perception of theatre. The 2014 season showcases top class work from home and abroad as well as new opportunities for Christchurch audiences to be part of the city’s vibrant arts community, such as PechaKucha Night. The next play in The Forge season is Ache, Pip Hall’s hot comedy about heartbreak which opens on 19 July and will play in The Pub Charity Studio at The Court Theatre. Check out more details about The Forge on facebook or www.theforge.org.nz.
