Native Songs supported by Zkabby Jams

Native Sons formed in ’96 and are a 7 piece band and have been ripping up stages for the past 10 years at New Zealand festivals like Sound Splash, Parihaka, Tribal Pride, Tainui Showcase, Waitangi day celebrations, Maori side Tour, with the likes of big names such as Third World, Katchafire, Kora, Cornerstone Roots, Zion Hill, Knights of the dub table, Black Seeds, House of Shem, Scribe, Whirimako Black, to name but a few.

The message in Native Sons music is about being proud of our culture here in New Zealand and Uniting the many cultures we have. There are no colour barriers in Native Sons. They write songs about unity, balance, respect, loving our children, protecting our youth, Fathers and Mothers stepping up to be role models for our children of the future.
