with Laetitia Puthenpadath

What is imaginative faith? Imagination is often associated with creativity, art or fiction. It is the stuff of poetry and movies, while faith is the domain of human religiosity. In this presentation we will explore the connection between faith and the imaginative potential within us. We will focus on discovering a new sense of possibility in living the life of faith and the creed we proclaim. This may help us to begin a new conversation with the culture we are part of.

Laetitia Puthenpadath is a member of Anashim Community, a group of vowed women in the Catholic Diocese of Auckland. Her initial training is in Science with a Masters Degree which she taught at tertiary level. She also holds a Masters Degree in Religious Education.
She later trained in psychotherapy and clinical supervision, is a NZ Registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor, and holds membership in New Zealand and Australian Psychotherapy Associations.
Laetitia has been involved in religious formation and accompanies others as a spiritual director and retreat facilitator. Her special focus is emotional and spiritual healing and the inner journey of a disciple of Jesus.
