Another incredible night at The Wine Cellar is coming up fast on May 3rd featuring a fantastic line up of singer/songwriters from around Auckland and even Masterton! A great time to be had chillin and kickin back with some sweet nectars and listening to these cats tell their song stories. Heed the call of the underground. $10 door fee. Doors open 8pm.

On the bill: Evan Sinton, WRBM, This Little Orchestra, with support from Elena Siljic.

Evan Sinton
In his first nineteen years; buried in melodrama and an undying need to write; Evan Sinton looks to create pieces that inject vocally drenched venom into the minds of the listener. Gone are the days of televised fame with a debut release; Phosphenes EP; that delivered his penchant for the dark and light. Showcasing his ability and set to create a second EP within the year, Evan Sinton executes something distinct. Having opened for Passenger last year, Moonshine is stoked to bring you the words of Evan in solo acoustic.

White Rabbit Black Monkey [WRBM]
An open collaboration space for a range of creative musicians and performers with: “a blending pot of styles, currently presented in a smoky rootsy acoustic folk format as black downtempo folk!” An outlet primarily for visualising struggle, persistence in spite, of perseverance, doubt, dark places, political protest, among other themes. An expression of the sound and resonance of the human effort.

This Little Orchestra
Ben and Jo Brunskill will be making the trip up from Masterton to regale you with their soothing sweet sounds. After many years being involved with more raucous forms of music, they've fallen madly in love with acoustic music. This Little Orchestra is a project to find out what happens when you turn down the distortion and turn up the simplicity.

Elena Siljic
Elena has auburn hair and likes to brew tea, and occasionally write a song or two to accompany her time.
Currently at Auckland Uni's music programme majoring in Pop, Elena has won numerous regional awards and embraces a folky sound with a drop of alt pop in the mix. Soon to be a darling obsession. Come and discover.
