'A Run to Remember' is a fun run and walk to honour those that lost their lives during the February 2011 earthquake.
The run takes place on Saturday 22 February 2014 and all proceeds will be donated to the Canterbury Earthquake Children's Trust who are helping children that lost a parent in the Canterbury earthquake.
The run starts in Victoria Park and heads up along the Port Hills before turning down Rapaki track and finishing in Hansen Park. Total distance is 12km - a good challenge for runners and walkers of all levels.
The run offers scenic views of Christchurch city, the Canterbury plains, Pegasus Bay and the Southern Alps. Runners will be able to look out across Christchurch and remember it for how it was, and appreciate the potential our beautiful city has.
