The Bach Choir of Wellington, directed by Stephen Rowley, with Douglas Mews (organ) and soloists Lisette Wesseling (soprano), Megan Hurnard (alto), John Beaglehole (tenor) and David Morriss (bass) present Magnificat by CPE Bach, with a selection of other works from the19th and 20th centuries celebrating the Visitation and the Mother: including works by Gorecki, Tavener, Carter, Herbert Howells and Stanford.

This music, concluding with the extraordinary extended fugue of the Amen in the CPE Bach, will provide meditations on, and joyful celebration of the gift that has sustained us all.
