Join us and Scholastic New Zealand to hear five top New Zealand authors describe the ideas and inspirations behind each book in the fascinating Kiwis at War series. The writers include Susan Brocker (author of 1914: Riding into War) along with Diana Menefy, David Hair, Brian Falkner and Des Hunt, the authors of soon-to-be published titles.

You’ll get some fascinating insights into how they worked together to weave common threads throughout the stories. Also, how they crafted gripping, heartfelt and impeccably-researched fiction for children aged 12 and over. Each book is a must-read and based on events for each year of World War One, from 1914 through to 1918. Come join us for this exciting book launch and celebration of New Zealand history.
