Rotorua District Library in conjuction with McLeod's Booksellers presents a rare opportunity to hear an internationally re-knowned publisher and children’s author tell the story of her success!

Julia Marshall, is the founder of Gecko Press which since its inception in 2005 has made an impressive impact on the world of children’s publishing. As well as being responsible for publishing international sensations such as ‘ Stupid Baby’ by Stephanie Blake, Gecko is also home to favourite and highly respected New Zealand author Joy Cowley.

Come and hear about the rise of one of children’s publishing’s biggest success stories and gain valuable insight into the workings of 2013’s Best Children’s Publisher of the Year.
