The Nelson Farmers market is a local food market highlighting the delicious local fresh tastes of the region. We are in at Morrison Square every Wednesday Rain or Shine from 11 -4pm. Come and Taste some of Nelsons Finest Flavours right in the heart of Nelson.

We have Fresh Organic and spray free Vegetables and Fruit as well as Cheese, Eggs, Olives, Oils, Local Meat, Salamis, and Fish both - Smoked and Fresh, Honeys, Sweet treats, Nuts and Flowers, Sauces, Bread, Bars and Baking including Gluten free, Sprouts, Plants and Herbs including organic so you can do it your-self in your own place and the seasonal produce (i.e. Asparagus, strawberries, peonies, peaches, Apricots, Cherries etc.!

As you wander through the market, choosing your fare we may have a showcase of local buskers, face painters, dancers, or pumpkins to entertain you. And if you haven’t filled up on the visual feast there is a wonderful selection of delicious eat now food to tempt you, from marinated sea food, Italian pasta, Mexican wraps, and waffles or cake, all locally made for you which you can enjoy with a coffee from either Columbus or Morrison St Cafes within Morrison Square.

Ask advice directly from the growers, doers and movers. Talk to the people creating a better world and selling directly to you, no middleman therefore lower prices, fresher produce and friendly faces. Come down, It will be great to see you!
