Contemporary technologies often raise unexpected ethical dilemmas. Without being heavily theoretical, this course looks at contemporary situations across several disciplines – from ecology to reproductive biology and from phone hacking to whistle blowing. The course provides an insight into why we should all become more ethically aware.

Selected content from courses in the Science Faculty and Victoria Business School have contributed to this course. It will appeal to anyone who enjoys intellectual discovery and challenging their mind.

This series of two-hour lectures is held on Wednesday evenings over five weeks (1 October to 29 October). There is a short break half-way through each session, and you are welcome to bring refreshments if you wish.
