Holiday Fun and Excellent Computer Education for Years 1-12.

Create 3d Games & Introduction To Scripting:
Create a labyrinth of rooms in a range of finishes, with water or lava below, sky above and outdoor scenes. Add doors, elevators, teleporters and program them to operate with the correct keys. Add a player, enemies, guns, health packs and other entities. Make your own start, win and lose screens and create a multi-level game. Learn how to create and skin your own 3D models and place them in the game. Done in a fun and enjoyable way

Other Classes
Minecraft Modelling to Mastery
A course that introduces you to the fun and creativity of Minecraft and covers beginner concepts all the way through to more advanced tasks like hosting servers and installing modifications. Discover new aspects of the game, not limited to but including:
- How to setup, manage and host your own Minecraft server. Complete with plugins.
- Install custom modifications into Minecraft and use the launcher (such as Forge, Tekkit, OptiFine and more).
- Understand basic logic and use redstone to your advantage, creating contraptions and making amazing bases in game.
Become an efficient master Minecraft builder using WorldEdit and WorldGuard to create masterpieces or carve and sculpt landscapes.

A Discovery Course In Computing:
Begin a voyage of discovery that you can further each holidays:
- Discover the different areas of computing;
- Find out what is best for you;
- Find answers to any questions you may have;
This course covers aspects from all of the classes.

Essential Computer Skills:
An opportunity to learn essential computer skills and discover what is available in the field of computing. This course is enjoyable, fun, and an empowering learning experience. In small groups and short 55min session a lot is covered. Computer games are played during the breaks, Sessions cater for all levels of experience. Sessions are run on animations, Excel, Word and how to use PowerPoint as an artist's tool, to make ID cards and photo presentations. A computer is pulled apart to see how the hardware is assembled.

Web Design, Animation & Graphics
Beginners, intermediate and advanced sessions. Animations are made in GIMP, GIF and Flash and a web site created to show them with photos, links etc. Also taught are rollover buttons, bookmarks, hyperlinks, dynamic HTML effects and page transitions. Instruction is also available in a range of graphics programs like PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, PowerPoint and Illustrator.

Learn To Program
Understand the principles and terminology behind programming languages and learn to program. Create your own 2D platformer game.

Intermediate & Advanced Workshops:
Excellent for those who have been before or know a lot. Small groups of 2-4. Great preparation for school, college or university. Sessions are run on areas of interest taken from all the classes as well as music, graphics and sound.

Build Your Own Computer:
Learn the parts, terminology and principles involved to build or upgrade a computer. Computers are supplied to pull apart. Learn to assemble the motherboard, CPU, RAM, add cards and disk drives, set slave and master drives as well as learning how to install an operating system (i.e. Windows).

Film-Making & Video Editing
Learn in a fun inventive way to create a storyboard, break it into scenes and shots and plan a shoot. Learn to set up and use a camera and tripod, the types of shots and how to frame and compose. Then use computer video editing to add sound, transitions, titles and credits and publish to YouTube as a finished movie.

Work is burnt on a disk to take home.
