A classical guitar summer school run every two years in Taranaki, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

The Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School brings together professional and amateur guitarists alike, composers and luthiers, educators and students to a central point in one of New Zealand's most picturesque destinations for six days and nights of classical guitar playing.

Evening concerts feature some of New Zealand's finest performers, workshops presented cover a broad range of guitar related issues. A series of masterclasses focus on performance technique and interpretation, and student ensembles perform a public concert on the final evening of the school.

The Taranaki Classical Guitar Summer School’s mission is to further classical guitar in New Zealand by:
- Fostering a classical guitar culture throughout New Zealand.
- Connecting local and international guitarists.
- Providing professional development for music educators.
- Providing economic benefits to the Taranaki region by encouraging new visitation and extended stays.
