Strong Community Organisations Require Effective Boards. Board Matters aims to assist this.

The third of a six part series of networking and professional development evenings for non-profit governance members, with the remaining sessions on the 1st Wednesday of the month.

Guest Speaker: Adrienne Watson, Auditor, Cotton Kelly

Topics are expected to include:
- Getting people to come to your AGM
- Running an AGM
- Constitutional requirements
- Accountability for financial and non-financial performance.

Facilitated by Gail Munro of Governance Strategies each 90 minute session begins with light refreshments and the opportunity to network.

Board Matters sessions are open to everyone on the governance board of an incorporated society or charitable trust, big or small. This includes, sports clubs, service & hobby groups, arts & cultural groups, ethnic and special interest groups and social service organisations.

Registration is required.
