Shane and Anna are well known in their respective instruments and showcase the unique sounds of the Scottish small pipes and harp together, playing traditional, contemporary and original tunes from the world of Celtic music.

Both started learning music as youngsters and went on to perform and teach in New Zealand and overseas. Coming from different early musical backgrounds (pipe bands for Shane and classical music for Anna) and playing two fundamentally different instruments, these two musicians meet on common musical ground - they are both published composers with their own work.

Writing and arranging music especially for small pipes and harp, they use traditional forms such as jigs, reels, hornpipes, marches and airs, and the play of melody and harmony between the two instruments.

Don’t be surprised too to hear the occasional traditional song from Anna or whistle tune from Shane.
