AMI Round the Bays 2014

Come join in the buzz of Wellington’s biggest fun run/walk on Sunday 23 February 2014.

The event includes a 6.5km fun run, walk and wheelchair option and the ISC Lenco Half Marathon, as well as the new addition of the 10 km run. All three distance options take advantage of the beautiful inner Harbour bays before converging on Kilbirnie Park for live entertainment, food and a great atmosphere for the whole family. The 2013 event set a new Wellington fun run record of 13,000 participants, and has seen consecutive sell outs since 2012.

The flat, fast course and the professional timing system mean that the event is a road runners dream; the Half Marathon and 10km are both measured and sanctioned by Athletics Wellington and you could easily set your own ‘PB,’ or you can just take it easy and enjoy the festival atmosphere of New Zealand’s third biggest fun run.

AMI Round the Bays is organised by Sport Wellington, and the Official Charity Partner is the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. Participants can raise funds to help the Malaghan find a cure for cancer, MS, Asthma and other diseases.

Participants can take advantage of fantastic offers and deals including the ever popular ‘work out for free offer’ from Les Mills.

Stay in touch with us for info about accommodation specials and the ever popular Pasta Party. Go to www.amiroundthebays.co.nz for more information.
