With symbolic links to the dawn landing at Gallipoli, dawn ceremonies have been a common form of Anzac Day remembrance during the 1920s.
If you would like to join the parade please meet in Bunny Street. The pubic is invited to march behind the veterans in the parade to the Cenotaph. Bring torches.
At the end of the Dawn Service, the parade will march to Pipitea Marae on Thorndon Quay where the Mayor will be hosting tea, coffee and Anzac biscuits.
Event proceeds rain or shine. Free and open to the public.
