Carter Observatory exists today because of the forethought of Charles Rooking Carter, an early settler to Wellington.

We take the time to celebrate this special day for our city by offering residents of the Greater Wellington Region half price entry into Carter to mark the occasion.

Just present your proof of address at our Front of House to qualify for this special offer.
