The Waitangi Family Festival at Clive will celebrate its 14th annual event at Farndon Park. This is a family event that is held on Waitangi Day and situated close to where the Treaty signings took place in Hawke's Bay.

Having the Clive river run next to the domain gives up to 40 people the opportunity to board, paddle and experience our main attraction, the waka Nga Tukemata O Kahungunu, for free! There are awesome free rides for the kids like go carts, merry-go-rounds, big bouncy castles and water activities!

Come along and enjoy the wide variety of stalls from arts and craft, clothing and food to geneology and jewellery.

Every year this event hosts a range of Hawke's Bay's top and up-and-coming artists on the Waitangi Stage.

Here are some of the acts performing this year:
Rapper Tipene playing with 8-piece band The Boil Up, Dave Boston and Margo Pierard, Jrassic, Haumoana Sound System, Akina Vinyl Appreciation Society, Smokestack Lightening, Flow, Professor Dynamite and the Banditos, Art Deco Line Dancers, Latin American Dance Group, Te Aute College, Irongate Kapa Haka Group, The Cook Island Drummers and plenty more!

We are always trying to add new things to our event and this year we are having a bikoi and Waitangi's Got Talent. See our website for all details.

So pack a picnic bring your deck chairs and the whole family along to the first public holiday of the year Waitangi Day. See ya there.
