Two bands and a performance poet put on a four hour show.

Host band, Grafia, start the evening with a 20 min intro set playing acoustic instrumental classics with Stephan Schultz on Violin and recorders, Keith Austin on keyboards and bass and Rob Maunsell doing vocals, acoustic rhythm guitar and harmonica.

Annelyse Gelman a performance poet from the US then does 45 min of her no holds barred delivery of free form poetry. She has a passion for this chosen genre and is a seasoned campaigner.

Neil Woarboys and the Wellington Heads are our special guest band, here to entertain the local and visitors, and to enjoy the experience of playing at King St Live!

Grafia Jam Band then finish of the evening before midnight with their renditions of songs chosen for the occaision and a few tasteful originals thrown in. This night we have as well as the trio, Kemp Turirangi on lead guitar, Andy Eldred on bass, John Jukes on drums and Neil Worboys joining us on harmonica and mandolin.

A. J. Hunter backs up the show with a spectacular visual display of images from many sources and Jason Ireland hold s in all together as master of the sound control desk.
