The Open Heart - insight meditation and Shin Yoga with Peter Fernando and Wilhemeena Monroe.

Mindfulness is a way of coming into presence. Being present in the here and now naturally feels good. When we feel good in presence we can make wise choices, and relate to others with clarity, openness and self awareness.

Relaxation is a key component of mindful presence. When the body is relaxed, we can sense the quality of our mind with greater clarity.

Restorative yoga is a powerful method of shedding the residual tension and stress held in our bodies, and is a perfect antidote to our busy lives.

This workshop will teach practical skills to access these complementary qualities of being and is suitable for both beginners and those with prior meditation and yoga experience.
