Enjoy the drama and comedy of the Bard's works in Queens Park, Invercargill during the height of summer.

A cast and crew will descend upon the park, allowing audiences to have a fly-on-the-wall view of the production, as they unpack their costumes, props and egos. All the company will perform in both shows.

The production comprises a double bill of Shakespeare: two works, abridged to 45 minutes each will be presented. The political thriller and tragedy of Julius Caesar (directed by Feidhlim Hall), will be in contrast to the farcical comedy of The Merry Wives of Windsor (directed by Hamish McGregor).

The annual production is presented by Shakespeare in the Park Charitable Trust and managed by Venture Southland.

It is a key summertime event that showcases the beauty of Queen's Park.

Tickets will be available from the Invercargill i-SITE from mid January.

Shows will start on the half hour, but arrive a bit earlier for the arrival of the company!
