The Body in Space Theatre Company and Fairfield House present, 'The Importance of Being Earnest'- a mad-capped misadventure into the world of Oscar Wilde's most well-known play.

Four very brave (or very stupid) actors present a cacophonous and Wilde-ly entertaining botch-up of Oscar Wilde's 19th century comedy for your delight. You will meet the four actors and get to know them as they rise and fall through clever lines and comic characters. The four actors are also accomplished improvisors (warning bells sound!) and this lends the performance an excitingly dangerous air. You never know what these unpredictable mischief-makers might throw in there. You can however expect a Wilde-ly funny show with lashings of audience interaction.

Bring a picnic (no alcohol please) or purchase savoury or sweet food and drinks on site. Remember your donations for the actors. Fun for the whole family!

The perfect package of summertime, stories and sublime comedy. An outdoor, Summer laugh-fest in the tradition of 'The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)' and 'All the Fairy Tales You Know (and Some You Don't)'.

'Audiences entranced by actors' skill and humour'. - Nelson Mail, 2012
