This lunchtime 'concert' is being given as part of the 3rd NZSM Jazz Festival and will feature our special guest artists Rakalam Bob Moses.

Bob Moses is a legendary drummer, composer, artist, poet, dancer, visionary, and nature mystic. He has an impeccable jazz pedigree, having worked alongside Charles Mingus, Larry Coryell, Dave Liebman, Gary Burton, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Paul Bley, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Michael and Randy Brecker, Bobby McFerrin, Chucho Valdes, Gregory Hines and many, many others. During this lunchtime session at the St James Theatre, Bob will be giving a sample of his expertise and sharing anecdotes and pearls of wisdom from his long and illustrious career as a jazz drummer, leader and collaborator. The session is free and open to the public - all are welcome.

Bob Moses has been working with NZSM students during the previous few days and will be Guest Artist for the NZSM's JazzJazzJazz showcase concert tonight. See the website above for more details about that event and for more information about the 2013 Jazz Festival.
