Martin Curtis, New Zealand Singer and Songwriter, lives in Cardrona in the foothills of the Southern Alps, a place that has become the inspiration behind much of his music. He has been writing and singing songs about his adopted country for well over 25 years, and has recorded and released 9 albums of kiwi material. He has toured extensively throughout New Zealand and the United Kingdom, as well as giving concerts in Australia, Hong Kong, Austria, Norway and even Nepal.

December 2003 saw the release of his first DVD called Otago My Home. This is a project that Martin was working on for some considerable time with a professional cameraman from Wanaka. This is a video of some of his Central Otago material, and is set and filmed in the very surroundings that inspired the songs.

Martin's latest album was released in June 2008. Called Sea to Summit, it is a collection of original songs about New Zealand, composed both by Martin and several of his good friends. It was a finalist in the Tui awards for Folk Album of the Year 2008.
