Marian Maguire

In this stunning exhibition of lithographs and etchings, artist Marian Maguire examines New Zealand history through the lens of Ancient Greek myths and legends. She uses a distinctive visual language that draws on a very personal mix of Greek vase decoration, early voyager records, and colonial paintings and photographs.

This exhibition will be open from 20 February until 7 April 2013.

Titokowaru’s Dilemma is being toured by Exhibition Services Tours.

Entry to this exhibition is included in Rotorua Museum’s admission price. Entry for Rotorua residents is free of charge with relevant ID.
