Kupe Sites Landmark Series - Nga Taunga Waka
Series connected to the Kupe Sites Exhibition.
First theme 1 March - 30 June: Photography Hopu Whakaahua

Make it click at Voyager, enjoy a variety of photography activities for kids.

Activities include:
- Make your own Camera Obscura ( A pinhole camera without the film) and learn about pinhole photography
-Learn about the Nautilus, a sea creature with a pinhole eye and make your own Nautilus mask
-Photography trail for kids, leading them to different treasures in our Museum that they can photograph - bring a camera!

Family friendly, drop in activities.

About the exhibition:
Kupe is regarded by many iwi as the ancestor who discovered this country. Kupe Sites, a touring exhibition from the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, explores the stories of Kupe’s encounter with New Zealand through names of various landmarks and places and even the name Aotearoa.
