Perdurabo: the Life of Aleister Crowley
Sex and Sex Magick In the Victorian Age

Aleister Crowley and Sex Magick - two subjects that have caught the attention of many, while few can claim to be well informed on either. In these two fascinating lectures, visiting author and Crowley biographer, Richard Kaczynski, will share his 25 years of academic study on the founder of modern magick, and one of this master’s favourite topics!

About Richard:
Richard Kaczynski is author of the acclaimed books “Forgotten Templars: The Untold Origins of Ordo Templi Orientis” (2012) and “Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley” (2010).

In the past year Kacsynski has contributed to the academic anthologies “Tarot in Culture,” “Mathematics in Popular Culture,” and “Aleister Crowley and Western Esotericism.” He is also the author of “The Weiser Concise Guide to Aleister Crowley” (2009), “Panic in Detroit: The Magician and the Motor City” (2006), and “Perdurabo Outtakes” (2005).

Richard has written and lectured internationally on these and related topics since 1990, and has appeared in the television documentaries “Secrets of the Occult” (2006) and “Aleister Crowley: The Beast 666” (2007). By day, Richard is a social psychologist, biostatistician and research scientist whose 1993 doctoral dissertation examined metaphysical beliefs and experiences among occult practitioners.
